The annual Apple Festival Art-Photography Show, 2010, will be held October 1st and 2nd in the community room of the Bloomfield Library, 125 S. Franklin Street. This event is sponsored by the Bloomfield-Eastern Green County Friends of the Library.
Entries may be brought on Thursday, September 30th, 2:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Judging will be on Friday, October 1st.
Viewing hours will be:
- Friday, October 1st, 2:30 to 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 2nd, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Entries may be picked up on Saturday, October 2nd, 3-4 p.m. or during library hours on Monday.
STUDENT ART will be divided into divisions, one grade per division, K through 5. Grades 6, 7, and 8 will be combined as Middle School. Work may be done in black and white, or color.
HIGH SCHOOL students may enter the following categories:
- Still Life
Student art must be individually mounted or matted only. NO FRAMES IN THESE DIVISIONS. Student entry fee is 50¢ per work. Please include name, address, school, and grade on the back of each entry.
ADULT ART may be in the following categories:
- Still Life
Titles may be used but are not required. Adult entry fee is $1 per work. We reserve the right to adjust categories depending on participation. All art must be free hand.
ALL ADULT ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY ENTRIES MUST BE WIRED AND READY TO HANG ON PEGBOARD PANELS.
PHOTOGRAPHY: Adults and students may enter in the following categories:
- Black and white
- Candid Shots
- Historical/Structure, Places Traveled
- Hoosier Happenings
- Digital Enhanced
Photos must be a minimum of 8×0, wired and ready to hang on pegboard. Only one entry per category in Photography. Entry fee is $1 per for adults, 50¢ per work for students. Please keep the subject matter suitable for family viewing.
