Kanopy
Download eBooks, audiobooks, and videos
  1. Browse for titles using the Indiana Digital Library website or the Libby app.
  2. Borrow titles using your library card number and password. Titles you have borrowed will appear on your bookshelf under your account.
  3. Enjoy! On your bookshelf, you will find options for enjoying each borrowed title.

Checkout Information
Checkout for eBooks and audiobooks is 7, 14, or 21 days. Videos may checked out for 3, 5, or 7 days. You can go to your settings in your Indiana Digital Library account to change your checkout period to your preference.
You may have up to ten (10) titles checked out and up to ten (10) titles on hold at a time.
Titles are renewable. A renewal option show up for items on your bookshelf three (3) days before your check out expires, if there are no holds on the title.
When your hold becomes available you will be notified by email.
There are no fines! Titles are automatically returned after the lending period has ended. If you finish early, you can return the title following these steps so others may enjoy it earlier.

Kanopy is a video streaming service that provides instant access to thousands of critically acclaimed movies, documentaries and Kids favorites. Partnering with studios like A24, The Criterion Collection, PBS, and more to bring you access to thoughtful entertainment.

How do I get started?
  1. Visit our site or download the app.
  2. Enter your library card credentials.
  3. Create an account using your preferred email.
  4. Begin streaming!

Checkout Information
 Each month you will receive:
  1. fifteen (15) credits to spend. Movies and documentaries are worth 2 tickets and you have 72 hours to watch. TV Seasons are worth 3-5 tickets and you have 14 days to binge the season. Great Courses are worth 5 tickets and you have 21 days to finish.
  2. open access to Kanopy Kids.

Compatible Devices
You can stream Kanopy on any of your favorite devices! Kanopy is accessible via mobile and tablet apps for iPhone and Android. You can also access Kanopy on your Desktop, and SmartTV apps like Roku, Apple TV, and Fire Stick.
