Library Card Drive Details​

Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library (BEGCPL) will hold a library card sign-up drive to celebrate National Library week (April 6-April 12, 2025). The drive will run the month of April 2025 (Tuesday April 1st – Wednesday April 30th 2025).

Any patron who signs up for a new library card* (Resident, Non-Resident, PLAC) or Renews their existing library card (Resident, Non-Resident, PLAC) will be entered to win a prize pack of gift cards, gift certificates, & vouchers to local establishments valued at approximately $320. Individuals may stop by either branch of the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library (Bloomfield Library at 125 S Franklin St OR Eastern Branch Library at 11453 E SR 54) to register for or renew their library card.

One (1) winner will be drawn from all who have registered for a new or renewed an existing library card with BEGCPL during the time frame advertised. Winner must be 18 years or older and be willing to have their photo taken and sign a release that photo(s) and their first name can be used in BEGCPL marketing. Winner will need to pick up their prize pack within one (1) week of being notified that they have won. Notification of winning will be sent to the contact information provided when library card is registered/renewed. Prize not picked up at the end of the one (1) week time frame will be forfeited and BEGCPL will draw a new winner. Individuals employed by BEGCPL and their households are not eligible to win.

  • Season’s Greetings - $25 gift certificate**
  ​*BEGCPL Library cards are free to anyone who lives in or owns property in any of the six (6) Greene County Townships that BEGCPL serves (Beech Creek, Center, Highland, Jackson, Richland, & Taylor). A driver’s license with current address is required as proof of residency. Property records and/or a computer generated piece of mail may be used additionally if your ID address is not current or you don’t live at your Greene County Property. Greene County residents who live in unserved townships (Cass, Fairplay, Grant, Stafford, Washington) or unserved areas surrounding Greene County may register for a library card for a fee of $41 per year.
