Checkout Information
Checkout for eBooks and audiobooks is 7, 14, or 21 days. Videos may checked out for 3, 5, or 7 days. You can go to your settings in your Indiana Digital Library account to change your checkout period to your preference.
You may have up to ten (10) titles checked out and up to ten (10) titles on hold at a time.
Titles are renewable. A renewal option show up for items on your bookshelf three (3) days before your check out expires, if there are no holds on the title.
When your hold becomes available you will be notified by email.
There are no fines! Titles are automatically returned after the lending period has ended. If you finish early, you can return the title following these steps so others may enjoy it earlier.

- Browse for titles using the Indiana Digital Library website or the Libby app.
- Borrow titles using your library card number and password. Titles you have borrowed will appear on your bookshelf under your account.
- Enjoy! On your bookshelf, you will find options for enjoying each borrowed title.
