What is Library Express?
Library Express is an outreach home bound service to patrons in the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library service area (Beech Creek, Center, Highland, Jackson, Richland, and Taylor townships)who are unable to come to the library as often as they would like. Eligibility reasons may include:
Library Express is an outreach home bound service to patrons in the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library service area (Beech Creek, Center, Highland, Jackson, Richland, and Taylor townships)who are unable to come to the library as often as they would like. Eligibility reasons may include:
- A temporary or permanent illness
- A temporary or permanent disability
- Extreme transportation problems
- An eligible resident completes the application below, or by printing and downloading this brochure (PDF file will open in a new window) to mail back to the library.
- If a patron does not have a library card, a card will be issued.
- A library staff member will conduct a formal interview to establish the patron's profile and use it to select material for the patron on a weekly basis. Special requests for material will also be honored. We deliver books, large print books, paperbacks, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs, music CDs and more!
- A library staff member will check out the selected materials using the patron's card.
- The material will then be delivered to the patron's residence, and materials from the previous delivery will be collected.
